ABOUT MAELER
Fragrance entered my life as more than a passing interest. It became a way to speak about people, places and feelings that words cannot always capture.
My work draws on conversation, intuition and the ability to hear what truly matters to someone.
It is not enough to know that a fragrance should be fresh, sweet or woody. I want to understand why, what it should recall and how it should make someone feel.
I have created fragrances for cities, businesses, brands, cultural projects and artists. Each has taught me to listen more closely, embrace unexpected ideas and keep exploring until the fragrance speaks for itself.
I do not follow a single formula or try to fit every project into the same style. One calls for quiet subtlety, another for strength, courage or a sense of wild nature.
My favourite moment is when someone experiences their fragrance and says:
“Yes. This is us.”
